About Bethel |
Bethel University was founded by the Cumberland Presbyterian Church and granted an official charter by Tennessee in 1847. The main campus is located in McKenzie, Tennessee. Bethel University is accredited by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (1866 Southern Lane, Decatur, GA, 30033-4097; 404-679-4500). The traditional campus is a private, 4-year liberal arts college with 27 undergraduate bachelor's degrees and three master’s degrees. However, we have many convenient satellite campuses and locations across state where each student is welcome to visit.
Bethel recently embarked on a mission to offer a variety of online programs to students that do not have the time to attend traditional university classes. Through online courses, you can keep your job and complete a degree. Classes are flexible and available when you are.![]() |
